Good to know
Do I need a plan?
No. Buy the card, set it up, and customers land on your link on Starter, free, for as long as you have the card. Your first 7 days include Elite on every card; after that, Pro and Elite add more links, tap analytics, the pre-screen and your branding, per card, when you want them.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your first 7 days include Elite on every card, automatically. Nothing is charged for 7 days; cancel before then and you are not billed at all. It is one shared window for the account: activate your first card and every card you add during those 7 days gets Elite until the same day, then each card drops to whatever plan you picked. We email you three days before it ends and again the day before.
What does the card cost?
The card is a one-time purchase in our shop, which shows the price and delivery. Nothing about the card is charged here; a plan is the only thing OneTap bills, and only if you add one.
Can I move a plan to another card?
Plans are per card. Take one card back to Starter (it keeps its paid features until the paid period ends) and put the other on the plan; the new card is charged for the rest of the current period and joins your one bill.
What happens if I stop paying?
The card keeps working. Go back to Starter under Plans and it drops there at the end of the paid period: one link, straight through, no analytics. If a payment fails, the card keeps its paid features for 14 days, then drops to Starter. Upgrade again any time and your extra links come back.
Do customers need an app?
No. Tapping the card opens your link in the phone's browser.
Which phones support it?
Most iPhones and Android phones from the last few years read the card.
Where can I point the card?
Anywhere you like. A booking page, your menu, a tip link, your Instagram, a form, or your review page on Google, Yelp, Facebook or Tripadvisor. Any https link works, and you can change where it points whenever you like, as often as you like.
Can I ask how the visit went first?
Yes, optionally. OneTap has a "How was your visit?" step that can send happy customers to your link and route everyone else to private feedback instead. It is off by default and turning it on is your call. Worth knowing before you do: if your link is a review site, their rules may not allow it. Google says a business must not ask only its happy customers for a review or discourage unhappy ones, and Yelp asks businesses not to solicit reviews at all. The warning sits next to the switch.
